BRAZILIAN COMICS IN KOREA (TOPAZ, CREEK&RIVER AND KOMACON)

Eduardo Vetillo was born in São Paulo, Capital, and his first attempts in drawings began at an early age; later, eager to develop new techniques he enrolled in the School of Visual Arts in New York.
In his return,he opened his own studio and has so far colaborated as an ilustrador of school and comic books.

WALTER VETILLO - Storywriting
Walter Vetillo was also born in São Paulo, Capital, and graduated from Economy School at the University of São Paulo; as a storywriter he was commissioned for articles in the major magazines.
Later, he started making adaptations for school and comic strip books.
He is also a pioneer in the struggle to preserve environment and has been deeply involved in ecological causes.

QUILOMBO and O GUARANI
Quilombo is a Comics written and drew by Eduardo Vetillo, and O Guarani is a brazilian Literary Classic, written by Jose de Alencar, adapted by Walter Vetillo with drawings and colors by Eduardo Vetillo.

"Eduardo Vetillo drew Disney comics for the publisher Abril in the early 1990s. He has mainly done stories with 'Hard Haid Moe', but also with 'Mickey Mouse' and 'Jose Carioca'. Vetillo also drew the Brazilian 'Spectreman' comic books in the 1980s, published by Bloch Editores. 'Spectreman' was a Japanese live action TV series created in the 1970s, but very popular in Brazil in the 1980s."

TOM SAWYER ADVENTURES
This Mark Twain north-american Literary Comics adaptation is still unpublished...
But it was a Eduardo's childhood dream, was the first book in english that he've read!






Eduardo and Walter Vetillo are on the road of comics and literature for a long time. Worked for publishers RGE, Bloch, Globo, Vecchi, April, FTD, Escala Educacional, Cortez, and many others. They continue making history in the Brazilian Comics Legends (Trapalhoes, Hanna-Barbera, Spectreman, Chaves, Urtigao, Chet, Colt 45, Tiradentes, Zumbi, Treasure Island, Maria Quiteria ...)
